On Monday 22nd January, Al-Furqan had the pleasure to host the Outstanding Chilcote primary school in a netball games amongst year 5 and 6.

The children commented it was “brilliant”, others said “realy good fun” whilst others said “it was good to know other children from another school – thank you”.

The purpose behind the visit were two fold.   To work on the Social , moral, spiritual and cultural awareness of our children.  Secondly to enhance the skills of Al-furqan students at a competitive level.

The competition was entertaining  and both students representing the school showed positive attitude, high energy and social skills.

John, the PE coach at Chilcote said, “big thank you to AL-furqan for hosting such a wonderful games and look forward to working with you in the other games”.  Welldone Al-Furqan.

Big Welldone to all the participants in the games. Al-Furqan would like to give a big thank you to Chilcote for their brilliant attitude and social interactions with their peers.

The school is looking to invite Chilote Primary in other events in the future in the games of Basketball and football.  We hope this is a start to long working relationship with this Outstanding primary school.  🙂
